Mrs. Teresa Horsley Barnett, age 46, of King, passed away on Friday, May 20, 2011 at her home. She was born on March 3, 1965 in Surry County to Roy Horsley and the late Geneva Horsley. Mrs. Barnett was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Tru-Way Baptist Church. Mrs. Barnett is survived by her husband, Leonard Barnett III, of Salisbury; her father, Roy Horsley, of Westfield; one son and daughter-in-law, Drew and Lindsey Collins, of Pilot Mountain; one daughter and son-in-law, Amber and Travis Lawson, of Kernersville; four grandchildren, Catherine Collins, Kalyn Collins, Macy Collins, all of Pilot Mountain, and Kaydence Lawson, of Kernersville; one brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Deborah Branch, of Mayodan; and three sisters, Jackie Horsley, of Mt. Airy, Julie Hall, of Pilot Mountain, and Becky Branch, of Boone. Mrs. Barnett was preceded in death by her mother, Geneva Horsley, of Westfield and brother Dennis Horsley. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at Tru-Way Baptist Church at 2:00 P.M. with Bro. Darrell Price, Rev. Richard Brewer, and Rev. Joe Atkins officiating with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on, Tuesday, May 24, 2011 from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. at Cox-Needham Funeral Home.
