James A. "Jim" Berfeldt went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 21, 2011 surrounded by his family.
Preceded in death by his parents Jasper and Mabel, brother Andrew, sister Marjorie and infant son and daughter. Survived by his wife of 63 years Ruth; children Carol, Wayne (Debby), Sally, Douglas (Roxanne), and Gregory (Jeanine); grandchildren Aaron (Katie), Samantha, Devon and Tara, Brandon (Mary) and Darren, Kelly, Brett, Lisa and Lauren; great grandchildren Peter, Luke, Noah, Alexander and Lucia; sister Evelyn Monson. He was WWII Veteran, an employee for over 33 years at The St. Paul Companies, and an active member of his church for more than 50 years. Service Thur. 10 am at the HAYDEN HEIGHTS BAPTIST CHURCH, 1845 Hyacinth Ave. E., St. Paul. Visitation Wed. 5-8 at the SANDBERG FUNERAL HOME, 2593 East 7th Avenue, North St. Paul and 1 hour before the service at church. Interment Evergreen Cemetery.
