Obituary

ROCKPORT: Shirley C. (Grimes) Sincavage, 95, formerly of Spring Street, Gloucester, died Sunday evening, May 22, 2011 in the Den-Mar Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late William “Sinkie” Sincavage, who died in February of 1998.
Shirley was employed as a cashier for the Massachusetts Electric Company on Main Street for thirty-five years, prior to her retirement in 1975. She was a familiar face to many in downtown Gloucester. Her home of eighty years on Spring Street was always open to generations of family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Cynthia Francis, wife of Ed Cambron, Robert, husband of Cynde (Ramos) Francis, Sandra Francis, companion of Robert Fulford, Susan, wife of Stephen Aiello, Keith, husband of Norma (Cormier) Francis, five grandchildren, Christian Rodolosi, companion of Mary-Joe Danskin, Alain, husband of Ceph Rodolosi, Alexandra (Amaral), wife of David Nicol, Cory Amaral, Rachel Aiello-Goncalves, wife of Ramon Goncalves, four great-grandchildren and a dear family friend, Antoine Rodolosi. She was also predeceased by a son, Alan Francis.
Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday morning in the Beechbrook Cemetery, Essex Ave., W. Gloucester at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. There are no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to the Den-Mar “Resident Activity Fund,” 44 South Street, Rockport, MA 01966.
