HAVERHILL: Lori Ann Gauthier, 44, died on Thursday, May 19, 2011in the Oxford Manor Nursing Home after a long illness.
Born in Methuen, on April 6, 1967, she was the daughter of late Muriel (Theberge) Gauthier Smith and Michael J. and his wife, Celeste Gauthier of Austin, Texas.
Lori was a resident of Lawrence for many years and attended Lawrence public schools. She loved spending time with her family. Lori recently was able to witness the birth of her niece, Nevaeh; it was truly an experience that was a bright spot in her life. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her father and step-mother, she is survived by her two sisters, Paula Gauthier of Las Vegas, NV and Wendy Gauthier of Methuen; two brothers, Scott Gauthier of Andover and Michael Gauthier of Austin, TX; five nephews, Joseph Gauthier, Nico Durso, Milton Toledo, Jr., Jacob Toledo and Tyler Gauthier and two nieces, Amanda Pond and Nevaeh Gauthier.
A memorial service will be held on Monday in the Linnehan-Grondin Funeral Home, 129 Kenoza Ave., Haverhill at 4 p.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. There are no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to the Oxford Manor Activity Fund, 689 Main St., Haverhill, MA 01830.
