New Bedford – Dorothy G. (Carr) Flores, 82, of Chace Road, E. Freetown died at St. Luke’s Hospital on January 29, 2004 after a long illness. She was the wife of John S. Flores, Jr., they were married 60 years.
She was born in Tiverton, RI, daughter of the late Wilfred and Gladys (Wing) Carr, and resided in E. Freetown for the past 42 years. She was a former member of St. Catherine of Siena Church, Little Compton, RI and a communicant to St. John Neumann Church, E. Freetown.
She was a member of the E. Freetown Senior Citizens, the Women’s Guild of St. John Neumann Church, and a C.C.D. teacher for many years. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband she is survived by a son: James M. Flores and his wife Wendy of E. Freetown; 3 brothers: Austin Carr of NH, Alen Carr of Chicago, IL and Richard Carr of WA; 2 sisters: Myrtle Rounds of Ferndale, MI and Sarah Plante of Pawtucket, RI; 2 grandchildren: Jestyn J. and Krysta D. Flores; and several nieces & nephews.
She was sister of the late Helene Riley, Janice Fields, Edwin Carr, George Carr and Raymond Carr.

A Mass of Christian Burial at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Little Compton, RI on Saturday, January 31, 2004 on 11:00 A.M.
Visiting hours are omitted.

Interment in Our Lady of Fatima Cemetery, Little Compton.
