BERKLEY – Clara (Hansen) King Crimlisk, wife of the late Russell A. Crimlisk, died at the McCarthy Care Center in E. Sandwich on May 15, 2011.
She was 97.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Celia Hansen.
Raised and educated in Norway, she later moved back to the U.S. and completed her education in Rhode Island.
Employed as a translator for several years, she subsequently owned and operated several area businesses, including two restaurants, a laundromat and a cleaning company, all in Providence, and a restaurant/clam bar at Gooseberry Island in Westport.
Survivors include two sons, Theodore S. King of N. Falmouth, and Craig J. Calise of Berkley; four grandchildren, Debra King, Theodore King, Kimberly Calise and Cristal Calise; and six great grandchildren.
She was also the grandmother of the late Scott King.
Funeral Services will be held at the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Thursday May 19th at 1 p.m.
Burial will follow Berkley Common Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Thursday, from 12 to 1 p.m. prior to the services.
