RAYNHAM - Maryann P. (Keaney) Horan, wife of David J. Horan, passed from this life into the next at Brigham & Women’s Hospital in the early hours of May 6, 2011.
She was 74.
Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Spencer) Keaney.
Raised and educated in Lynn, she graduated from St. Mary’s High School.
A Raynham resident since 1965, Maryann was a long time member of the Raynham King Philip Lion’s Club, where she engaged in many charitable initiatives on behalf of the blind.
She also enjoyed trips to Disney and Foxwoods, and time spent with her family.
Besides her husband of fifty years, she leaves two sons, David J. Horan, Jr. of South Boston, and Kevin Horan of Raynham; two daughters, Maureen Adams of W. Bridgewater, and Carol A. Clapp of Easton; two brothers, John Keaney of Marblehead, and Martin Keaney of Lynn; two granddaughters, Brittney and Samantha Clapp of Easton; her cat, Raisin; and Pretty Bird.
Memorial Services will be held at the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway Taunton, on Friday, May 20th at 9 a.m.
Graveside Services will be held at the MA National VA Cemetery, Bourne at 2:15 p.m.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
