Agnes Dixon Smith, 88, of Fitzgerald, Georgia died Wednesday, January 28, 2004 at Dorminy Medical Center.
Graveside Services will be held 11 AM, Friday January 30, at Evergreen Cemetery, Fitzgerald, with Rev. Steve Waldorf officiating. Eulogy will be given by Dr. Sammie Dixon and Jesse Whitfield. Visitation will be from 7:00 to 9:00 Thursday evening at Paulk Funeral Home, Fitzgerald.
Mrs. Smith was born in Fitzgerald, to the late Samuel D. and Orene Jordan Dixon, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Henry J. Smith and Daughter, Henrietta S. Halbrook. She was a graduate of Fitzgerald High School, a Member of Central United Methodist Church where she was a former Sunday School Teacher and a homemaker.
Survivors include: Granddaughter: Michelle (Jesse) Whitfield, Acworth, GA.2 Great Granddaughters: Julia and Rachael Whitfield, Acworth, GA. Niece and Nephews who were her caregivers: Sandra D. Paulk, Jerry Dixon, Dr. Sammie Dixon and Alan Dixon.
