Acushnet – Philip V. “Phil” Saucier, 53, or Acushnet died at home on May 15, 2011. He was the husband of Yvette (Dupuis) Saucier.
Mr. Saucier was born in New Bedford, son of Alice (St. Onge) Saucier of Acushnet and the late Normand P. Saucier, and was a lifelong resident of Acushnet. He was the owner/operator of Saucier Siding & Construction Company. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and loved riding his motorcycle.
In addition to his widow and mother, he is survived by a daughter: Rebecca Saucier of Chico, CA; a son: Jacob Saucier of Acushnet; 2 sister: Rose Marie Souza of Fairhaven and Anne Marie Cafferty of Acushnet; 3 brothers: Normand Saucier of Fairhaven, Daniel Saucier of Dartmouth and Mark Saucier of Acushnet; and numerous nieces & nephews.
He was brother of the late Albert and Richard Saucier.

Funeral from the Kirby Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 4256 Acushnet Avenue, New Bedford at 10:00 A.M.
Interment in Acushnet Cemetery, Acushnet.
