Obituary

Concord– Jean A. Carignan, 70, died May 13, 2011 at her home following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Grasmere on March 7, 1941 the daughter of Edward and Phyllis (Jean) Petersen.
She had been a resident and homemaker in Hooksett until moving to Concord in 2009.
She attended both St. Joseph High School and Central High School.
She worked for Shaws Supermarket and Talbot Catering.
She was a former parishioner of St. Peter Church in Auburn.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling to New York City, and Foxwoods, reading, puzzles, crossword puzzles, and jigsaw puzzles.
In Her Life: Family members include three sons, Donald Carignan and his wife Sarah of Allenstown, Robert Carignan and his wife Patricia of Bow, David Carignan and his wife Valerie of Hooksett, 7 grandchildren, I great grandchild, one brother, Donald Petersen and his wife Sylvia of Manchester, her beloved companion Robert Hemeon and her dog “Rocky”.
Services: Calling hours will be on Monday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 PM at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home 110 Bridge St.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 AM in St Peter Church, Auburn.
Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Concord Regional Visiting Nurses Association, 30 Pillsbury St., Concord NH 03301 or to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, 1 Medical Center Drive, Lebanon NH 03756.
