Merrimack, NH - Audrey Marian (O'Sullivan) Cusato, age 81, died Wednesday evening, May 11, at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH, following a long period of declining health. She was the beloved wife of Arthur Cusato Jr., who died in 1987.
She was born in Chicago, IL, November 28, 1929, the daughter of the late Arthur and Adrienne (Dedecker) O'Sullivan, but was raised in Newport, RI. She married and moved to Melrose, Wakefield and Tewksbury to raise her family. She retired to Merrimack Meadows in Merrimack, NH, in 1991.
As a resident of Tewksbury, she was a communicant of St. William's Church, a member of the Tewksbury Jayceettes, and worked as an assembly supervisor at Semi-Con in Burlington. She also worked with her husband at the family business, 1280 Realty Trust Co. in Tewksbury.
Since her move to NH, she developed many friendships and was active in the Merrimack Meadows quilting groups, cards groups, and lounging poolside.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Arthur Cusato Jr. and his wife Carolyn (Herman) Cusato of Merrimack; two grandsons, Matthew Cusato and Andrew Cusato both of Merrimack; a sister-in-law Clara O'Sullivan who was the wife of her late brother, Arthur P. O'Sullivan; many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service was held Monday, May 16, at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home, followed by burial in Tewksbury Cemetery. Memorials to the Community Hospice House, 210 Naticook Rd., Merrimack, NH 03054, will be appreciated.
