Stoneham, MA – Richard K. Stacy, 59, a former resident of Hampstead and Salem, NH, died peacefully on Monday, May 9, at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua.
Richard, the son of Kenneth W. and Arlene L. (Poole) Stacy, was born in Lynn, MA. A graduate of Pinkerton Academy and the Lowell Technological Institute, he was employed as a production manager with Cobham of Nashua.
An avid motorcycle rider, Richard was also an All-New England sports fan, devoted to the Red Sox and Bruins. Richard enjoyed the beach and loved to travel. He was especially captivated by Irish heritage and culture. The former president of the St. Cloud Florida Soccer Club, he was also very involved with the Special Olympics.
Besides his parents, Richard is survived by his beloved children Kaitlin A. Stacy of Portsmouth, NH and Michael R. Stacy of St. Cloud, FL, his sister Jody L. Ford of Dade City, FL, his brother Gary J. Stacy of Naples, FL, his niece Staci E. Shepard and his dear companion Michele Passanisi of Medford. He also leaves several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends are invited to share a memorial celebration of Richard’s life on Sunday, May 15, 2011 at one o’clock at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St., Methuen, MA 01844.
