Paul R. Brown age 92 of Scituate, MA, died Saturday at the Shepard House in Sebring, Fl.
He was born in Newton, MA, where he grew up and attended schools. He later graduated from Boston University, where he was captain of the hockey team. He was a long time resident of Scituate.
Mr. Brown was a Manufacturers Rep. for Jack Fay Co. for seven years after his discharge from the Army. He was then self employed as a manufacture's representative for electrical fixtures and supplies for thirty years. After his retirement Paul was a bus driver for the Cohasset sports teams. He was a US Army Air Corp. veteran, serving during World War II for the 8th Air Force, 445th Bomb Group 42nd Squadron, and was aboard the Bee Bee’s Boys as navigator, where he flew 19 mission and was shot down and was a POW. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Scituate. He was a former member of the Scituate Country Club, and enjoyed golf and the beach.
He was predeceased by his wife Helen (FitzGerald) Brown. He was also predeceased by his granddaughter Shauna Barker
He is survived by his Son: Paul R. II & his wife Lucie Brown of Salem, NH

Calling hours will be held Thursday, May 12th from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM at St. Mary’s Church in Scituate, MA. A funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Scituate.
