CHERRY VALLEY____Teresa (Kulesza) Danek, 72, of Cherry Valley , died Thursday May 5, 2011 in St.Vincent Hospital , Worcester . Her husband of 44 years, Ignacy K. Danek died in 2007.
She leaves two sons, Krzysztof A. “Chris” Danek and his wife Karen of Upton and Edward R. Danek of Cherry Valley ; a brother, Joseph Kulesza and a sister, Helen Grodcki both of Poland and many nephews and nieces. She was born in Poland , daughter of Aleksander and Zofia (Choinski) Kulesza and was raised in a small Polish farming village. She immigrated from Poland to the United States and has lived in Cherry Valley for 46 years.
Mrs. Danek was a quality control inspector 10 years for Holden Plastics Co., before she retired. Previously, she worked for Parker Metals and Millbrook Distributors. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church. Teresa's true passions were here love of gardening and her taste for Polish cooking, for which she both enjoyed. Though Teresa was most truly happy being a loving wife and mother.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, May 11, from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., Worcester with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph Church, 759 Main St.. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours in the funeral home are Tuesday, May 10, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.
