Mr. Michael J. Rezendes, of Taunton, died Saturday, May 7 in the Tufts New England Medical Center, Boston following a lengthy illness. He was born 41 years ago in Taunton, the son of Joseph and Linda (Charette) Rezendes. He was educated in Taunton and had been a lifelong city resident. He was formerly employed at the Raynham-Taunton Dog Track for 5 years. He was previously employed by the Universal Construction Company in Taunton for several years. Michael was a member of the Cub Scouts and the Taunton Little League Giants in his youth. He was an avid Boston Bruins fan, and enjoyed watching the New England Patriots and the Boston Celtics, as well as watching the History Channel on television.
In addition to his parents, of Taunton, he leaves: 1 sister: Michelle Rezendes of Taunton, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Funeral Service will be held at The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street on Tuesday, May 10 at 8:00 P.M. Visiting Hours will precede the Service, Tuesday, from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
