SHOFNER, Barney R., 90, of Louisville, died Friday, May 6, 2011 at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital.
He was the former owner of the old Burton Fabric.
He was a Baptist by faith.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Jean Hunt; his parents, Sallie and H.W. Shofner, Sr.; and five brothers, David, James, Leon, Grover and Harry, Jr.
Survivors include two sisters; Louise Vance (Gerald) and Martha Loyall; sister-in-law, Betty Shofner and a large extended family of nieces and nephews and their descendents.
Funeral services will be 10am Tuesday at the Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with burial in the Buffalo Cemetery, Buffalo, KY. Visitation will Monday 2-8pm and Tuesday after 9am.
