In Taunton, May 6, 2011 Jose Medeiros Branco, age 70 passed away in Taunton Nursing Home following a lengthy illness. Jose was born in Faial, St. Miguel, Portugal to his late parents Jose & Maria (Medeiros) Raposa. He moved from Portugal and has lived in Taunton since 1959. Jose was a former custodian for St. Mary’s Church in Taunton. He enjoyed being with his family and friends. Jose is survived by his two daughters, a sister-in-law, two nieces and two aunts. Jose is also survived by his cousin and care giver Grace Disanto of Taunton. Funeral home visiting hours will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA. 02780 on Tuesday, May 10th from 9:30-10:30am. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Church in Taunton at 11am. . Burial will be in the family lot in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Taunton.
