Creed, Carole E. (Scollins) May 6, of Marshfield a mother and retired nurse at the age of 78 , at her home surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late William C. Creed Jr. Loving mother of Kathleen Svizzero and her husband Robert of Marshfield, William C. Creed III and his wife Cynthia of Tyngsboro, Paul Creed and his wife Karla of Waterman Il, Timothy J. Creed and his wife Diane of Duxbury, Joan Ellen Creed of Marshfield, and Carole E. Taylor and her husband Andrew of Hanover. She was a loving grandmother to her thirteen grandchildren. Also survived by her brother William R. Scollins Jr. of No Falmouth and his wife Carole , her brother Dennis M. Scollins and his wife Debra of Marshfield, and sister Joan E. Scollins of Osterville and the late brother Donald H. Scollins and his surviving spouse Margaret "Peg" Scollins. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Carole was raised in Roslindale, graduated from Notre Dame Academy of Boston in1950 and Saint Elizabeth’s School of Nursing in 1953. She married William Creed of Green Harbor in 1955 and they raised their family in Marshfield. Carole was a long time R.N. and worked at Quincy City Hospital, Carney Hospital, Boston VNA and CURA of Plymouth. She enjoyed the simple pleasures in life and touched many people with her infectious spirit and loving heart.
Funeral from the MacDonald Funeral Home1755 Ocean Street (Rte 139) Marshfield, Tuesday May 10 at 9:00 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Careswell St. Marshfield at 10:00 AM.
Visiting hours Monday, from 4:00 to 8 PM.
Interment will be in the Winslow Cemetery, Winslow Cemetery Road Marshfield,
