Patricia A. ( Kane ) Holmes, a resident of Stoughton, passed away at home on Thursday May 5, 2011. She was 64 years old and the beloved wife of the late Russell Holmes. She is survived by her two daughters, Stacey M. Corbett of West Bridgewater and Heather L. ( Corbett ) Thistle of Brockton. Other survivors include her two brothers, William F. Kane and his wife Judy of North Fort Myers, Florida, John H. Kane and Maurine of Marshfield, two grandchildren, Kyle K. Thistle and Ryan J. Thistle both of Brockton and several other nieces and nephews.
Born March 7, 1947 in Dorchester, Massachusetts Patricia was the daughter of the late William F. and Eva M. ( Prance ) Kane. She attended Stoughton Public Schools and was a graduate of Stoughton High School.
Mrs. Holmes was employed as a Clerk by Anton’s Cleaners in Stoughton prior to her retirement in 2009’. She attended the Immaculate Conception Church in Stoughton. She was a very devoted mother and grandmother.
Visiting hours to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend will be held on Monday May 9, 2011 from 9 A.M. to 11:45 A.M. in the Sheehan Funeral Home, 115 Monk Street, Stoughton. A funeral service to celebrate Tricia’s life will follow at 12 Noon in the funeral home. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of one’s choice in Patricia’s memory, would be appreciated.
