Shirley A. Gazarian, 61 of Brookline, formerly of Wellesley died Thursday after a long illness in the Youville Rehab Hospital, Cambridge, MA.
Mrs. Gazarian graduated from Jackson School Tufts in 1961. She became a software pioneer in the fields of CAD/CAM and space exploration contributing to the development of the Skylab experiments.
Shirley is the beloved wife of Charles Gazarian of Brookline. Devoted mother of Richard Gazarian of Chicago. Cherished daughter of Anna (Goolksian) of Medford and the late Alexander Kaloostian. Sister of Paul Kaloostian of Medford.
A funeral mass will be held Monday at 11 AM in the Holy Trinity Armenian Church, 145 Brattle St., Cambridge Fr. Vasken A. Kouzouian officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge.
Friends may visit Sunday from 5 thru 9 at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford.
