
Worcester – Pauline M. (Benoit) Fontaine, 102, died on May 4th at Holy Trinity Eastern Orthodox Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Worcester.
Born in Charlton, MA she was the 12th and youngest child of Arthur and Rosalie (Prunier) Benoit.
She was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Theodore J. Fontaine and her daughter Janice C. Gee.
She is survived by her daughters Anne M. Gosselin of Worcester and Gloria M. Anderson and her husband Gilbert of Grafton; her son in law Thomas Gee and his wife Rae of New Bern, NC; 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild and many nephews and nieces.
She was a member of the former Holy Name of Jesus Parish, of the Parish Golden Age Club and the former Franco American Social Club.
Pauline’s family will be forever grateful to the staff at Holy Trinity and it’s Hospice Program for the kindness, compassion and respect that Pauline received while a resident for the past 7 years.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, May 7th from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. with a Mass at 11:30 AM in Our Lady of the Angels Church 1220 Main St. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours are from 5 to 8 PM on Friday, May 6th in the funeral home.
