Claire “Gerry” Duffy Of Medford May 4. Gerry passed peacefully with her family by her side. Born Oct. 16, 1934 in Malden, she is the daughter of the late Catherine Claire (Creeden) and John Joseph Duffy. Gerry was a lifelong Medford resident. She was the beloved niece of the late Alice Creeden and the late Jeanette (Creeden) Hunt who, with her husband Dermott Hunt became revered family figures. Gerry is the beloved mother of John Dermott Duffy of Medford and Grandmother of Brianna Kristen Duffy of Malden. In addition she leaves many close friends, neighbors and extended family members. Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main Street MEDFORD on Saturday at 8 AM. Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church 118 High Street Medford at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday 4-7 pm. Services will conclude with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
