Rose M. Cross, 58, of Manchester, died May 2, 2011. She was born in Concord June 25, 1952 and was the daughter of Lena E. (Heath) and her step father Chancey “Chet” Tomlinson. For many years Rosie worked as an assembler for Textron Company.
Her family was the center of her life. She will be remembered as an easy going, saint of a person. Rosie enjoyed camping, crocheting, bingo, all western movies, especially John Wayne movies, riding motorcycles and spending time with her grandson.
IN HER LIFE: family members include her husband of 39 years David A. Cross, of Manchester, her children, Vicki Cross, of Goffstown, Rae Lynn Cross, of Warner, David A. Cross II, of Manchester; a grandson, David A. Cross III; 3 sisters, Ellen St. Louis, Patricia and her husband Emile Lacerte, Wanda Tomlinson and her husband Joseph Fontes; 2 brothers, Chester Tomlinson, Peter and his wife Rose Tomlinson;
several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her sister Sharon Hodneland in 2008.
Calling hours at , will be Saturday from 1 to 3 o’clock.
A service of remembrance was held on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at the Lambert Funeral Home and Crematory, 1799 Elm St. Manchester with Pastor Doug Rickard.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
