Fort Myers, FL - Francis A. Ducharme Sr., 88, of North Forth Myers, FL formerly of Indian Lake Parkway Worcester died Friday February 8 in Heartland Health Care Center of Fort Myers after an illness.
He leaves his wife of 65 years Mary E. "Minnie" (Stone) Ducharme of Fort Myers, FL; three sons Robert F. Ducharme and Claude D. Ducharme both of Worcester and Francis A. Ducharme Jr. of Rutland; one daughter Marguerite A. Heavey of Fort Myers, FL. 20 Grandchildren; 48 Great Grandchildren; 1 Great Great Granddaughter and several nieces and nephews. Mr Ducharme was born in Worcester son of Claude and Rose (Lucier) Ducharme.
Mr. Ducharme worked for Diamond T. Truck Inc., in the sales and service department for 43 years retiring in 1976. He also worked for Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home, Worcester for over 20 years.
He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Worcester. Mr. Ducharme was also a member of the Massachusetts Catholic Order of Forester for 65 years.
The funeral will be held Tuesday, February 12 from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond Street with a mass at 10 AM in St. Peter's Church 931 Main Street, Worcester. Burial will be at Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours are from 5 to 8 Monday, February 11 in the funeral home.
