Kathleen Kay (Farrington) Murray, age 65, of Franklin died April 30, after an eleven battle with lung cancer. She was the wife of Jack Murray for the past 37 years.
Born in Montpelier, Vermont the daughter of the late Robert A. and Irene (Muncy) Farrington, she was a graduate of Champlain College.
She had spent the last 16 years working for Putnam Investments.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her son Jim and his wife Sera and grandson MJ Murray of Shrewsbury and her son Capt. Rob Murray, US Army of Essex, MD.
Kay enjoyed quilting, gardening and, most importantly, shopping. She also disliked wakes and funerals and requested no services. After cremation, her ashes will be scattered at several favorite locations in Vermont.
