Mrs. Maria Pasquale, age 93 of Medford died Friday at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Domenico Pasquale. Mrs. Pasquale was born and educated in Prezza, Italy, daughter of the late Salvatore and Agata Pasquale. She emigrated with her family to the United Stated in 1963 and settled in Medford. She loved to sew, crochet and knit. Well known for her beautiful handiwork, she often made initial linens and tablecloths. Nothing was more important than family to her. She was not just a fabulous cook but even affectionately known as the “cook of cooks” it was common knowledge that you never left her home without eating. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed traveling. In recent years she had begun returning to Prezza Italy for up to 6 months at a time. She is survived by a son Dino Pasquale and his wife Elisa, Giovanna LaPosta and her husband Daniele all of Medford, one brother: Alberto Pasquale and his wife Caterina of Italy Beloved grandmother of John, Sonia, Raffaella, Simona and Alessandra. Sister of the late Libirata Ferrelli, Antonio Pasquale, Anna Giovannetti and Domenico Pasquale. Visiting hours from 4 through 8 PM on Monday. Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main Street Medford on Tuesday at 9 AM. Her Funeral Mass will be held in St. Francis Of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford, at 10:00 am.
