Mary M. ( Abril ) Correia, a lifelong resident of Stoughton, passed away on April 12, 2011 at The Copley At Stoughton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was 90 years old and the loving wife of the late Francis J. Correia Sr. She is survived by her son Francis J. Correia Jr. and his wife Marie of Ajax Ontario, Canada. Other survivors include her granddaughter Lindsay Marie Correia of Canada, her two sisters, Anne Abril and Nellie Barros both of Stoughton, her two brothers, Francis J. Abril of Florida and Johnny Abril of Virginia, many nieces and nephews and her special friend Keith Kooyoomjian of Brockton. She was also a sister to the late Joseph Abril, Tony Abril and Many Abril.
Born February 26, 1921 in Stoughton, Massachusetts, Mary was a beloved daughter to the late Joseph and Mary ( Silvia ) Abril. She attended Stoughton Public Schools. She was employed by the Foxboro Company as an Assembler in their Electronics Division for over twenty years.
Mrs. Correia attended and was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church in Stoughton. She enjoyed housekeeping, dancing, country music and had a deep love and compassion for people.
