Ruth A. (Pyche) Chamberlain 76 of 305 Bryn Mawr Avenue, Auburn died Sunday, January 25, 2004, in the home of her daughter. Her husband of 40 years Arthur “Tommy” Chamberlain died in 1988. She leaves her daughter Sandra R. Warfield of Sutton and a son Mark A. Chamberlain of Worcester, 2 brothers Clayton Pyche of Minnesota and Roland Pyche of West Boylston, 2 sisters Betty Forsell of Worcester and Muriel Schedin of Northboro, 3 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Chamberlain was born in Worcester daughter of Roland and Bertha (Sieswerda) Pyche .She was a graduate of Commerce High School.Mrs. Chamberlain was a Record keeper for the Worcester and Auburn Visiting Nurses Association. She had also worked for JM Fields Department Store and Photomat Company.Ruth was a member of Pleasant Street Baptist Church, a former Sunday School Superintendent and teacher; she was also a member of the Ladies Fellowship of the Church.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, Jan. 30, at 11:00 am in NORDGREN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 300 Lincoln Street Worcester. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park.
