Mrs. Angelina M. Gunsher, a life-long resident of Woburn passed away at the age of 95 on April 26th at the Cedar Glen Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Danvers following a short illness. She was the beloved wife of the late John B. Gunsher. Born in Woburn she was one of nine children of the late Michael and Carmella (Marrone) Benullo.
Prior to her retirement Angelina worked for many years as an assembly person for the Bellofram Company of Burlington and also worked for a great number of years with the Sylvania Company of Woburn. Angelina enjoyed working with her hands and doing arts and crafts. She especially enjoyed and cherished spending time with loving son Dennis, other family and friends playing cards and traveling to Salisbury Beach and the the beaches of Cape Cod. She was a former member of the Woburn Sons of Italy.
Angelina is survived by her son, Dennis Gunsher of Danvers, two sisters, Edith Rastellini of Woburn, Rita Benullo of Boston and many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to her late husband and parents she is preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Benullo, Anna Tuttle, Margaret Blanchard, and brothers Joseph, Felix, and Michael Benullo.
Funeral services will be held from the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., WOBURN, Saturday, April 30th, at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Anthony Church, 851 Main St., Woburn, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours at the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home will be held on Friday from 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Calvary Cemetery, Woburn.
