DiMARTINO, Lena Ann (Cicchetti) Of Dedham, passed away Monday, April 25, 2011, at the Ellis Nursing Home in Norwood. Lena was the beloved wife of the late Salvatore (Salvino Nicolo) DiMartino. Daughter of the late Francesco & Cicilia (Scarsella) Cicchetti of Italy & daughter in law of the late Nicola & Maria (Cicchetti) DiMartino of Italy. She was the devoted & treasured mother of Robert & his wife Joyce (Massarelli) of Dedham & Donald William DiMartino also of Dedham, whom she lived with. She leaves behind 2 cherished granddaughters Kerry (DiMartino) Tobin & her husband Steve, of Mansfield & Lauren DiMartino of Dedham, she is also survived by 2 adorable great grandsons Brandon & Nicholas Tobin of Mansfield. Beloved sister of Florence & her late husband Harold Heeder, her brothers Albert & Carlo Cicchetti all of Dedham & the late Joseph, Lawrence, Rose, Helen & William. Lena is also survived by many nieces & nephews. Lena studied in Boston to become a seamstress. She enjoyed making clothers for family members & was proficient in crocheting & knitting as well. Her favorite past time was bingo. You would also see her walking around Dedham with her sister Helen & many of her other friends. During war time she worked at the Railroad Yard in Readville & later went to work at the Boston Envelope Co. in Dedham until her retirement.
