Fall River - George E. Williams, 74, of New Bedford, died Saturday, January 24, 2004 at St. Anne's Hospital in Fall River. He is survived by Lealer (Samuel) Williams his wife of 40 years. He is survived by 13 children, several grand and great grandchildren.
Mr. Williams was born in Savanah, Georgia and lived in this area for 27 years. He worked for the Boston Public School Dept. as a security guard.
His funeral will be Wednesday January 28, 2004 at the Union Baptist Church, Union St. New Bedford with viewing at 10 A.M. and services at 11 A.M. Visiting hours are Tuesday January 27th from 4:00 - 6:00 P.M. at the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. After the services at the church he will be cremated as per his request.
