Billy Keith Brake, age 52 of Clarksville, TN, died Monday, April 25, 2011 at Sterling House.
A celebration of his life will be held on Thursday at 2 PM, at Hilldale Baptist Church with Rev. John Thomas, Rev. Terry Brown, Dr. Larry Robertson and Rev. Verlon Moore officiating. Burial will be in the Stewart-Rinehart Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 to 8 PM Wednesday at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel and from 11 a.m. until the hour of the service Thursday at the church.
Keith was born March 5, 1959 in Montgomery County, son of William Zirbel Brake and Barbara Jane Weakley Brake. He was preceded in death by his mother.
He was a member of Hilldale Baptist Church where he taught Sunday School.
Keith had retired as a manager of Wal-Mart, worked as service manager of Saturn and Nissan, and most recently was an assistant Funeral Director at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home.
Survivors include his father, Billy Brake; wife, Lynn Kindred Brake; son, Bryan Brake, daughter, Brittney Brake; and brother, Barry "Bubba" Brake (Shelia).
Pallbearers will be Marty Williams, John Nichols, Bill Farmer, Jeff Pennington, Chuck Dowdy, Jeff Purvis, Tommy Harris, and Joey Haley.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Keith Brake Sunday School Class, Glen Shearon, Donny Brown, Wendell Stone, Keith Griffin, Kent Halliburton, Rick Barnes, and Mike Simpson.
