In Taunton, April 24, 2011 Cecelia “Cis” M. Maltais, age 80 passed away in Morton Hospital following a brief illness. Cecelia was born in Taunton to her late parents Frank & Mary (Texeria) Gonsalves. She has lived in East Taunton for the past 60 years. Cecelia enjoyed knitting and spending time with her family. Cecelia is survived by her son Gary Maltais and his wife Barri of Taunton. Her grandchildren Britt and his wife Lili Maltais of Bridgewater and Pattijean Maltais & fiancée Jason Ross of Taunton. Her sister Judy Correia of Taunton. Cecelia also leaves her close friend Shirley Brady of East Taunton. Funeral home visiting hours are on Weds. April 27th from 9-10:30am. at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St. Taunton, MA. 02780. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Family Church in East Taunton at 11am. Interment will be in the family lot in St. Jame’s Cemetery in East Taunton.
