Myrtle L. Lemay, 71, of Manchester, NH died on Saturday April 23, 2011 at the Community Hospice House, Merrimack, NH following a lengthy illness. She was born on June 3, 1939 in Rochester, NH, a daughter of the late Joseph and Edith (Parkhurst) Stevens and was a resident of Manchester since 1997, formerly living in Raymond, and Chester. Mrs. Lemay enjoyed camping, traveling, cooking, listening to music and doing housework with her husband. She was a member of the Southside Bible Fellowship in Manchester.
She is survived by her husband, Gerard P. Lemay, Manchester, one son, Lionel O. Armstrong, Manchester, four daughters, Debra Cornwell, Grafton, NH Susan Marcotte, Inverness, FL, Mary Patten, Concord, NH, Sharon Raymond, Laconia, NH, 22 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, many step-children and step grandchildren, two sisters, Hope Chase, Hope, ME, Harriet Conway, Dover, NH, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
There are no calling hours. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held on Saturday April 30th at 1:00pm at the Southside Bible Fellowship, 200 South Jewett Street, Manchester.
