Obituary

Anne M. (Leonard) Boudreau, of Stoneham, formerly of Medford, died Saturday at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital. She was 85.

Mrs. Boudreau was raised in Charlestown, the daughter of the late John and the late Helena (Brennan) Leonard. A Medford resident since 1952, Anne worked as an operator with New England Telephone. For many years Anne was active in leading the St. Joseph Grenadiers Band and Color Guard. Scores of band alumni fondly remember her as Mrs. B.


The beloved wife of the late Herbert W. Boudreau, she was a devoted mother to Atty. Herbert W. Jr. and Patricia A. DeBenedetto and her husband Kevin of Stoneham, Nancy A. Cunningham of Melrose, Michael J. of Wilmington, Stephen G. and his wife Chantal of Plaistow, NH, Daniel A. and his wife Irene of Arlington, the late John F. Mother-in-law of Bernadette Boudreau. She was a loving grandmother of 17 and loving great-grandmother of 11. She was a dear sister of the late John, Joseph, Mary, Sr. Marie Immaculata, SND (Helena) and a loving sister-in-law of Alice Benn, Helen Galvin and her husband Henry, Paul Boudreau, George Boudreau and his wife Gertrude and Joan Boudreau.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to visit at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Tuesday April 26th from 4 thru 8 PM and again on Wednesday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High Street, Medford, at 10 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
