WAYLAND: Lina (Turner) MacNeill, 98, died peacefully in the care and comfort of her family on Thursday, April 21, 2011 following a life well lived.
She was born in Melrose on March 5, 1913 the daughter of the late Henry D. Turner and Emma F. (Tomes) Turner.
Lina was the wife for 58 years of the late H. Harold MacNeill who died in January of 2007.
She is survived by her children; Madeleine M. Sifantus of Wayland; Bonnie A. Catto and her husband Alistair of South Hadley; Heather L. White and her husband John of Fredericksburg, VA and Harris L. MacNeill and his wife Nancy of Northborough. She was the sister of Winifred D. Garritty of Sudbury. Also survived by nine grandsons, three great-grandsons and one great-granddaughter.
Visitations will be held on Monday, April 25, 2011 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm in the Bryant Memorial Chapel of the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Rd (Off Rte 30), Wayland.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at 1:00 pm at the Church of the Holy Spirit, 169 Rice Road (Off Rte 30), Wayland.
Interment will follow in the MacNeill family lot in Linwood Cemetery in Weston.
