Thomas E. “Tom” Wood, II, 91, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Sunday, January 25, 2004 at Life Care Center.
Graveside services will be 3 P.M. Monday, January 26, 2004, in Evergreen Cemetery, Fitzgerald with Rev. Steve Hood officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before the service.
Mr. Wood was born November 2, 1912, in Habersham County, Georgia, to the late Thomas Emory Wood and Angie Williams Wood and was preceded in death by his wife Edna Poole Wood. He was a retired hotel and restaurant manager. Mr. Wood served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Mr. Wood is survived by one son: Thomas Emory Wood, III, Gainesville, GA and his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
