Margaret H. (Laurie) Boland, 81, of Londonderry, NH, died Sunday, January 25, 2004 in the Hanover Hill Healthcare Center, Manchester, NH. Mrs. Boland was born in Roslindale, MA on August 7, 1922, a daughter of the late William and Jean (Fitzpatrick) Laurie. She was a resident of Londonderry since 1988, formerly living in Melrose, MA. She was employed for many years as a Bookkeeper for State Street Trust, Boston, MA. She was a former member of the Melrose Highlands Congregational Church and a member of VFW Ladies Auxillary, Harold O. Young Post #2394 of Melrose, MA.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, George R. Boland of Londonderry, NH, four daughters, Linda Patton of Londonderry, NH, Susan Boland of Auburn, NH, Kathleen Spadafora of Milford, NH, Laura Francis of Londonderry, NH, one son, David Boland of Saugus, MA, 11 grandchildren, three great grandchildren, one sister, Ann Elia of Portland, OR, many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, January 29th at 10:00am in St. Mark's Church, corner of South Road and Mammoth Road, Londonderry, NH. Burial will follow in the Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose, MA. Friends may call on Wednesday from 7 - 9pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry, NH.
