Steven “Crash” Blaisdell, age 57, passed away on Tuesday April 20, 2011 at Lahey Clinic in Burlington. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Paula Bickel, his daughter, Erica Bickel-Blaisdell and her husband Christopher Lammers of Abington and his 2 granddaughters, Bryanna Blaisdell and Natasha Lammers both of Abington. Steve is predeceased by his parents Raymond Blaisdell and Joan McGowan. Crash was born in Morehead, NC, grew up in South Portland, ME and lived in Brockton for 20 years before moving to Abington 5 years ago. He was an avid stock car racer at Beech Ridge Speedway in Scarborough, ME and loved Animals, fishing, antique collecting and Lionel Trains. Visiting hours will be held at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Wednesday, April 27 from 5 to 7 P.M. immediately followed by a Funeral Service at 7 P.M.
