Larry Griffin, 65, of Fitzgerald, died Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at his residence.
Graveside services will be held 11 AM, Tuesday, April 26, 2011 in the Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. Griffin was born April 16, 1946 in Fitzgerald to the late Fred D. and Loris Moore Griffin. He lived in Fitzgerald all of His life, graduating from Fitzgerald High School in 1964. Mr. Griffin was a former employee of Georgia Display and Elixir Industries. He was an avid fisherman and a member of Gold Wing Riders Association. Mr. Griffin was a member of West Side Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife: Ann Griffin of Fitzgerald; daughter & son-in-law: Marsha & John Puckett of Fitzgerald; granddaughter: Amanda Puckett Hodges of Fitzgerald; brother: Fred Griffin, Jr. of Greenwood, SC and devoted friend: Earl Easom of Fitzgerald. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Robert Larry “Bobby” Griffin, Jr.
