Evelyn Smith Hagewood, age 88 of Clarksville, TN, died April 19, 2011 at Montgomery Care and Rehab Center, Clarksville, TN.
Services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel, with Rev. B. J. Brack and Rev. Matt Kelley officiating. Entombment will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation will be Friday from 9 a.m. until the hour of the service at the funeral home.
Ms. Hagewood was born October 18, 1922 in Montgomery County, daughter of the late Howard Thomas Smith and Annie Frech Smith. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Hagewood; brother, Thomas Leon Smith and sister, Louise Smith Rudolph.
Survivors include two great-nieces, Beth Seay and Melissa Buck, both of CLarksville; and two nephews, Tommy Smith and Billy Smith, both of Nashville.
Pallbearers will be Billy Smith, Tommy Smith and Larry Bates.
Ms. Hagewood was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church, and memorials may be made there in her memory at Bethlem UMC, 1324 Gholson Road, Clarksville, TN 37040.
