Florio W. D'Antonio, 97 of Medford, died Monday after a brief illness in the Golden Living Center, Melrose, MA.
Born in Boston, he lived in Medford for the past 44 years and formerly of the North End of Boston. He was the son of the late Elena (Iafolla) and Cesideo D'Antonio.
Florio was a Supervisor with the former A & P Supermarket for over 40 years and retired in 1975.
Beloved husband of the late Agnes (Napoli) D’Antonio. Devoted father of Elena Gasparello and her husband Bill of Saugus, Chester D'Antonio of Florida, Vincent D'Antonio and his wife Mary-Ann of Stoneham, Lillian Caparell and her husband Stephen of Malden. Also survived by 5 loving grandchildren and 9 loving great grandchildren. Brother of Gilda Cuddemi of Somerville, Albert D'Antonio of New Hampshire and the late Olga Peterson, Eda Simboli, Bruno and Anthony D’Antonio.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Friday at 9 AM followed by a Blessing in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, at 10 AM.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Thursday 4 - 8.
Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
