Obituary

JAMES W. COLEMAN, 88, of Louisville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 19, 2011.

He retired from Traylor Brothers Construction, was a Navy veteran of World War II, a member of the Daylight Masonic Lodge #760, the Scottish Rite and the NRA.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Eleanora A. (Koepper) Coleman; children, Mary Coleman Sanders (John) and James J. Coleman; brother, Robert Coleman (Ann); 2 grandchildren; 3 great grandsons, several nieces and nephews and his little buddy, Zion.

His service will be 1pm Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West. Visitation will be Thursday 6-8pm at the funeral home.

The family wishes to thank Summerfield Health and Rehab for their care during Mr. Coleman’s stay.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
