BRAID, Harold- Of Chelsea, April 17th. Devoted brother of Janet Carron of Chelsea, Grace Robichaud of Saugus, Charles Braid of Chelsea and Patricia Detweiler of Florida. Son of the late Harold and Grace (Nicholson) Braid. Father of John Braid of Melrose, Tina Stickney and her husband Shawn of Swampscott and Peter Braid of Wakefield. Lovingly survived by his granddaughter Sara Stickney as well as many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral from the Smith Funeral Home, 125 Washington Avenue, CHELSEA on Monday, April 25th at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Service at 10 o'clock. Services will conclude with interment at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
Born in Revere and in management for the National Parks Service and and head of maintenance for the Charlestown Navy Yard, Harold passed away at home, surrounded by his loving family at the age of 69.
