SUNSIN, Helios, Sr.- Of Everett, formerly of Chelsea, April 17th. Devoted husband of Trinidad (Cruz). Beloved father of Gustavo Sunsin of Honduras, Helios Sunsin, Jr. of Revere, Magaly Sunsin of Everett and the late Mario Sunsin. Lovingly survived by many brothers, 1 sister as well as many nieces and nephews. Cherished grandfather of Carlos Joel, Ronald, Helios, Mario, Kelvin, Sinead, Gustavo, Jr., Andrea and Carlos and great grandfather of Anahya, Izaiah and Mia. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral from the Smith Funeral Home, 125 Washington Avenue, CHELSEA on Friday, April 22nd at 10 AM followed by a Liturgical Blessing in St. Rose Church, 600 Broadway, Chelsea at 11 o'clock. Visiting Hours in the Smith Funeral Home on Thursday from 5-9 PM. Services will conclude with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
Born in Honduras and a resident on Chelsea since 1978, Helios, at 79 years of age, passed away at home after a heroic battle with cancer. For over 17 years he worked for the Chelsea Jewish Nursing Home in the maintenance department.
