James Crandall, 62, died April 16, 2011 at Beverly Hospital. He was
husband of Karen (Tuneburg) Crandall with whom he shared forty years of marriage
Born on Nov. 7, 1948 in Beverly, he was the son of the late Robert C. and
Rose “Dorothy” (St. Cyr) Crandall. He was raised and educated in Beverly and James graduated from Beverly High School in 1967. He was employed as a projectionist at several area movie theaters.
Besides his wife Karen, he is survived by two sons, Brett Crandall of Beverly and Joshua Crandall and his wife Andrea, a brother Robert Crandall and his wife Sissie of South Carolina, three beloved grandchildren, Kaya, Haley and Jakob, a mother-in-law Mary "Betty" Tuneburg of Beverly, a sister-in-law, Betty Lee Tuneburg of Haverhill, a brother-in-law Thomas Tuneburg and his wife Michelle of Beverly and several “favorite” nieces and nephews.
In keeping with James’s wishes there will be no funeral services. A Celebration
of Life will be held from 4-8PM on Wed., April 20, 2011 in the Franco-American Club,
Park St., Beverly. In lieu of flowers memorial donation may be made to the American
Diabetes Assoc., P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312. Arrangements are made by
C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers.
