DIPIETRO, Alfred F. of New Hampshire, formerly of Lynnfield, passed away after a lengthy illness surrounded by his family on April 16, 2011 at age 84. Beloved husband of the late Jeanette (Tomasik) DiPietro. Loving father of Maryann Whalen and her husband Daniel of Derry, NH. Cherished grandfather of Nicole Patricia Whalen of Derry, NH. Special uncle of Susan Higgins and her husband Brian of Billerica. Dear brother of Josephine Jarmulowicz of Billerica and the late Augustine DiPietro and Victoria Florence D’Entremont. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Proud US Air Force Veteran WW II. Al worked at Revere Beach in the 1940’s. He graduated from Revere High School in the class of 1943. He was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. Al retired as a video engineer for GE after many years of service. Funeral from the Doherty – Barile Family Funeral Home, 11 Linden St. READING Wednesday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Alfred’s Eternal Life in Our Lady of Assumption Church, 17 Grove St. Lynnfield at 10am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Tuesday from 4-7pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants will be available. Interment with Military Honors will take place in Forest Hills Cemetery, Lynnfield.
