Obituary

METHUEN - Thomas J. Capobianco, 80 of Methuen died Friday April 15, 2011 at Saints Memorial Hospital in Lowell, MA.
Born and educated in East Boston he was the son of Thomas and Jenny (Scozella) Capobianco. During the Korean Conflict, he served in the U.S. Marines and was honorably discharged. For many years he was employed as an iron worker. He was a member of the East Boston Key Club, and the Lawrence M. Sousa Army, Navy Garrison. He enjoyed spending time at his home with his family.
He leaves his wife of 57 years Margaret G. (Doucette) Capobianco of Methuen.
Children Meg Capobianco of Derry, NH, Thomas J. Capobianco, Jr. and his companion Diane Calello of Winthrop, MA, Linda Giardina and her husband Paul of Stoneham, MA, Gail Coppola and her husband Rick of Danvers, MA and Joanne Leach of Methuen, MA.
One sister Helen McKenna of New Mexico,
Thomas is also survived by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Thomas was also pre-deceased by his son-in-law William Leach, Jr.
ARRANGEMENTS: Memorials can be made to a Charity of One’s Choice. Family and friends may call on Monday from 4:00p.m. – 8:00p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11:00a.m. in St. Monica’s Church in Methuen with burial to follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence, MA.
