Lilianne M. Letendre-Charbonneau 86, of Spring Water Dr., died peacefully Thursday surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 18, 1925, a daughter of the late Ovide and Delvina (Laplante) Rajotte. She was a devoted wife to the late Lucien Letendre, and the late Paul Charbonneau. She was Ma and Memere to many she knew and cared for all her life. She and Paul were Foster Parents of the Year in 1987. Lilianne had nine children. Her surviving children are; Pierre Letendre of Falmouth, MA, Roger Charbonneau of Pascoag, RI, Diane Charbonneau of Woonsocket, RI, and her "forever kids" Tammy and Ronald Charbonneau of Woonsocket. Her deceased children were; Paul, Diane, and Normand Letendre, and Richard Charbonneau. Mom was a Memere to seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Mom accomplished her purpose of being our mother always. Lilianne loved being known as the "first client" at PACE of RI.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Park Ave., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham. Visiting hours will be Monday 4-7 PM.
