VELMA JACQUELINE "JACKIE" (SNOW) GOODE, 75, of Woburn, formerly of Hingham and Quincy, died on Friday, April 15th, 2011 at the Woburn home of her sister, Dr. Beatrice L. Snow. She was associated with the Bank of Boston for 15 years before retiring in Sept. of 1996. She was a Hingham resident from 1964 to 2003 and was a member of the Hingham Congregational Church and also the Community Church of Neponset in Dorchester.
She was the mother of Rev. David R. Goode of Lititz, PA, Diane (Goode) Komejko of Scituate and Linda (Goode) Dooner of Hingham. Sister of Dr. Beatrice L. Snow of Woburn and Charles A. Snow of Tewksbury. Also survived by 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be conducted on Tuesday, April 19th at 1 PM at the Hingham Congregational Church, 378 Main St., (Rt. 228), Hingham.
Friends may visit at the Downing Cottage Funeral Chapel, 21 Pond St., Hingham on Monday from 4-8 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the American Breast Cancer Foundation, 1220 B East Joppa Rd., Suite 332, Baltimore, MD 21286.
Interment in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
